This imposing side table is a reproduction, produced from reclaimed China old pine wood and based on similar table in European style. It includes some lovely carving detailing on the legs, and is finished in a heavily distressed, blue lacquer over the wood. Each of the six drawers has a different sizes between the first row and second row and is fitted with a simple bronze handle. A beautiful table with plenty of storage space that would be ideal in a living room or as a dining side table.

The rich, dark lacquer finish is still in good condition, though worn around the feet and on the table's top surface. Like much of the furniture produced in Shanxi province that has survived the years, the table is made from elm wood, and has a lovely patina and attractive grain brought out by the dark finish.
The table would work wonderfully today as a very attractive desk, console, or possibly as a narrow dining table. The material is walnut, originated from Shanxi province in north of China.
